Una volta ero un paio di jeans..

Una volta ero un paio di jeans, di marca e sono rimasto in una scatola per anni e anni.

Non avevo più lo stile giusto per essere indossato da chi mi aveva comprato, però ero ancora in splendida forma!

Così un giorno, la scatola in cui stavo si apre: vedo entrare luce, vedo due mani che mi tirano fuori e mi girano e rigirano.

Ci siamo!

So che questa è la volta buona!

Forse non sarò più un paio di jeans, ma sicuramente questa ragazza troverà il modo di riutilizzarmi.

La vedo perplessa..pensa a una borsa.. l'ennesima.. però poi mi guarda ancora e decide che sono troppo bello per non essere ancora indossato.

E così..eccola, l'idea!

Un giro su google per trovare il giusto tutorial, qualche colpo di forbici qua e là, un po' di cuciture nuove..e sono diventato una gonna!!

Once upon a time I was a pair of jeans.

Yes, a good one, too.

I hadn't the right shape anymore, I was old, yet so new and nice.

I was in a box..until the box opens and I see two hands taking me and turning me.

So here we go!!

Finally, I feel this is the right time!

I won't be a pair of jeans anymore, I suppose, but this girl still loves me and I'm sure she's going to make something nice out of me.

Maybe a bag?

No, maybe something to be worn again!

And so this is the idea..She finds a tutorial and cuts and sews and here I am: a skirt!

Mi piaccio, uh se mi piaccio in questa nuova veste!!

Ma aspetta, lei mi guarda e ancora non è del tutto soddisfatta..gioca con il tessuto avanzato, e ritaglia alcune farfalle.

Le appunta su di me e poi le cuce, abbellendole con corpo e antenne di filo rosso.

Beh ha fatto bene, ora sono più bello! o forse ora devo dire bella, dato che sono una gonna :-))

I like myself, uh yeah I like myself!!

But wait.. she's still looking at me and dosen't seem to be that satisfied.

She has some denim in her hands and cuts it. She makes a few butterflies, attaches them and makes red ants and body.

Sooo nice!!

Now I'm really cool!

Che gioia!! ora dalla scatola sono passata all'armadio ufficiale, ho il mio bell'appendino di legno e non vedo l'ora che lei mi indossi e mi porti a passeggio!

Scusate questa sciocchezza, ma amo pensare che il riciclo renda felici anche le cose e volevo dare loro una voce :-)

I'm so happy! Not in the box anymore, yet in the official wardrobe, on a nice wooden hanger, waiting to be worn and shown again!

Sorry for this silly thing, but I love thinking that upcycling makes things happy. So I wanted to give them a voice :-)
